The SDA Church’s prophetess—Ellen G. White—falsely claimed that, during Christ’s crucifixion, nails were driven through the bone and muscle of his hands, which would result in broken bones. She would later go on, 40 years later, to state in The Desire of Ages that the nails only pierced through “the tender flesh”.
Scripture is explicitly clear that none of Jesus’s bones were broken (John 19:36) because it was prophesied that the true Passover Lamb (Jesus) would have none of His bones broken when killed (Exodus 12:46; Numbers 9:12; Psalm 34:20).
Ellen White claimed that “whatever contradicts God’s Word, we can be sure proceeds from Satan”, that her writings never contradict God’s Word, and bear the test of investigation. We’ll let you connect the dots.
