In one of Ellen White’s visions regarding the resurrection she claimed to have wings and that other believers will have wings also. The Bible nowhere says this. In fact, it contradicts the Bible.
Jesus is the firstfruits of the resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:20) and our bodies will be glorified like his (Philippians 3:21). Jesus didn’t have wings when he resurrected.
The Adventist Church’s defense to this is that Ellen was only in vision. It wasn’t a literal depiction of actual realities. While this might seem convenient, they only use this excuse when there’s a problem or contradiction. They sure don’t have a problem taking many other aspects of the “visions” quite literally.
