The Adventist Church’s prophetess—Ellen G. White—who they teach was divinely inspired no differently than that of the biblical writers, claimed in 1864 to be shown by God that an angel shut the door of Noah’s Ark. Twenty-six years later she stated that it was God who shut the door of the ark.
The Bible very clearly says that God shut the door of the ark (Genesis 7:16).
Ellen White originally contradicted the Bible to only contradict herself twenty-six years later. Ironically, this wouldn’t be the first shutting of a door that she got wrong.
She also claimed that “whatever contradicts God’s Word, we can be sure proceeds from Satan.” We’ll let you connect the dots.
