The Adventist Church believes they have been given a special mission from God to take a distinct, “present truth” message to the world. They believe this message was revealed to their pioneers through visions given to Ellen G. White. Part of this message involves Revelation 14:6-12 where the three angels message is mentioned.
They have latched onto this section of the Apocalypse and have anachronistically read themselves into the text. Because of this, they claim their unique message as what is being proclaimed in this section of scripture—branding it as the “Three Angels Messages”.
This message includes conditional immortality, the adventist message of health reform, Ellen White’s prophetic gifting, the Investigative Judgment, the seventh-day sabbath, leaving Protestant and Catholic churches to join theirs, and young earth creationism.
