The Adventist prophetess—Ellen G. White—who the SDA Church believes was divinely inspired no differently than the biblical writers and that her interpretations of scripture correct inaccurate interpretations—claimed that, after Jesus turned water into wine at the wedding in Cana (John 2:1-12), he quietly withdrew without even his disciples noticing.
This contradicts the Bible which is clear that after this miracle He went down to Capernaum with his mother and brothers and his disciples where they stayed for a few days (John 2:12).
Ellen White claimed that “whatever contradicts God’s Word, we can be sure proceeds from Satan,” that her writings never contradict God’s Word, and they bear the test of investigation. We’ll let you connect the dots.
