Dr. Brant Bosserman explains why the phrase “The Lord’s Day” in Revelation 1:10 is not the seventh-day, Jewish sabbath and why the grammar demonstrates this. Dr. Bosserman has worked in Christian higher education since 2008, lecturing in biblical studies and western philosophy. Upon completing his Ph.D. in philosophy of religion in 2012, his thesis was published under the title, “The Trinity and the Vindication of Christian Paradox: An Interpretation and Refinement of the Theological Apologetic of Cornelius Van Til.” The same year, he was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America, and called to plant Trinitas Presbyterian Church in Mill Creek, Washington. Since then, he continues to serve as senior minister.
