It’s been decades since Dr. Walter Martin—author of the famed Kingdom of the Cults—initially gave Seventh-Day Adventism a pass and listed them as heterodox, and not cultic, in his book. But did the story end there? He appeared on the John Ankerberg Show in 1985 not too long after the release of his book to discuss with the then editor of the Adventist Review, Mr. William G. Johnsson, where he demonstrates a change of heart—mostly tied to the SDA Church’s views on Ellen G. White.
