Ellen G. White, the divinely inspired prophetess of Adventism, claimed that, while on the cross, Satan wrung the heart of Jesus causing Him to doubt his resurrection, if the Father would accept His sacrifice, and that He couldn’t see through the portals of the tomb. This is not only contradictory to the Bible, but is blasphemous heresy.
Jesus Christ is the Almighty God (Isaiah 44:24, Colossians 1:15-16, Revelation 1:8, 1:17, 2:8, 19:16). He prophesied on numerous occasions that He would raise himself from the dead (John 2:19-21, John 10:17-18, Luke 24:7). He prophesied about his second coming (Matthew 26:64). He most assuredly knew He would resurrect. Ellen White creates division within the Godhead!
This is one of the most blasphemous statements diminishing the Lord Jesus Christ. She claimed to never write one sentence of heresy, that the words in her books were barricaded by a “thus saith the Lord”, and that whatever contradicts God’s Word, we can be sure proceeds from Satan.” We’ll let you connect the dots.
