SDA pastor and AmazingFacts ( @AmazingFacts ) president, Doug Batchelor ( @PastorBatchelor ) gave a talk some years back titled “Is Sunday Sacred,” wherein he proceeded to misrepresent Christians, but more specifically, those of us that affirm first day Sabbatarianism.
In part 1 we looked at the Genesis account, all of the New Testament references to “the first day,” as well as some other standard claims the SDA Church makes. In part 2 Doug launches into full blown historical revisionism and attributes why Christians worship on Sunday to being a trick of Satan and conspiracy theories in which we fact check his sources and claims to show, yet again, Doug does not know what he criticizes, but is parroting standard SDA pioneer assertions.
