With Hanukkah (Feast of Dedication, Feast of Lights) starting last week, what are the origins of it and why does it create problems for Adventism?
Today we take a jog through history after listening to a couple of statements by Clifford Goldstein (Editor, SDA Sabbath School Quarterly) and Jean Ross (Granite Bay Hilltop SDA Church). Without the SDA Church’s interpretation of Daniel 8:14, the entire movement’s foundation collapses. As we see, the existence of Hanukkah is an annual reminder that the investigative judgment is not only unbiblical, but historically bankrupt.
