Since the inception of the Seventh-Day Adventist movement, the organization has sought to utilize the same playbook against anyone that seeks to speak out against their theology—lie, slander, and gaslight. What used to be a tried and true tactic will soon no longer work in the technological era. Yet this pathology is integral to the movement to silence anyone that dares object to their heresies and errors.
Today we look at how this has always been the case and silence the lies of Edwin Cotto from the “official” Advent Defense League who continues to lie about our organization to his own shame. But it provides us with insight into how this pathology is still alive and well with some Adventists, it needs recognized, and is to be expected.
