Sabbath BEFORE Creation? What Scripture Says!

Uh simple question tonight guys was there a Sabbath before creation uh another worlds you know uh do they have a Sabbath well let’s talk about it yeah good question uh as near as we can tell from the evidence in the Bible the Sabbath first appears in Genesis chapter 2 and because it’s connected with the revolution of our Earth on its axis and uh as you know the the the planets go around the Sun I think the Sabbath is connected with timekeeping in our world now does God have other times of rest or holy days and other unfallen worlds the Bible doesn’t say but uh it first

Appears in scripture in connection with the creation of our planet and these creatures made in the image of God so it sounds unique to us Doug I’m glad that you recognize that that’s all that scripture teaches but unfortunately for you your prophetess didn’t in testimonies for the church volume 6 Ellen White writes that all Heaven is keeping the Sabbath but not in a listless do nothing way on this day every energy of the Soul should be awake for are we not to meet with God and with Christ Our Savior we may Behold Him by faith he is longing to refresh and bless

Every Soul which technically means that Doug has to yield to her Authority on the subject it’s also why scripture tells us to not exceed what is written something Ellen White regularly did but also the caller asked about the Sabbath being kept on other worlds did you catch that something else that’s coming from the same Fountain Head claiming to be shown by God and given access to communicating with these beings on other worlds Ellen White said she asked them why they were far more lovely than those of us on Earth to which they replied that they have lived in strict obedience

To the Commandments of God and have not Fallen by Disobedience like those on the earth so this flows Downstream from the SDA Church’s great controversy worldview which asserts that the Ten Commandments are Eternal and form the foundation of God’s Heavenly government it is these commands that not only govern heaven but all of the other alleged work worlds of unfallen beings also which would mean that the Sabbath is not only being observed in Heaven by Angels but also by all sorts of uh other beings contrary to Doug’s claim but one single text of

Scripture one that the SDA Church loves to site actually creates a serious problem for them and that’s Mark 2:27 where Jesus plainly states that the Sabbath was made which means it isn’t Eternal and not just that but it was made for man not Angels or other beings on other worlds so once again Ellen White’s supposed Visions not only contradict scripture but contradict one of the SDA Church’s favorite proof text to site to try and support their position on the seventh day Sabbath being binding the same woman that said whatever contradicts God’s word we can
