What is resurrection and what does the SDA Church teach about it? Today we examine their unique view which is derived from scripture + the writings of Ellen G. White. The historic Christian teaching, derived solely from scripture, is that the resurrection entails the raising of the same body the believer died in and that body then receives glorification—Jesus being the example (1 Corinthians 15). What is sown, is then raised (1 Corinthians 15:42). Is this in line with what the SDA Bible Commentary states, though?
