We’re circling back to the camp of the guys over at AmazingDiscoveries who gave a small presentation on the “Hidden Origins of Protestantism” wherein they proceeded to do nothing of the sort but they used such a title to package their SDA sales pitch. We briefly look at the actual historical origins of Protestantism, what being a Protestant actually means, followed by fact-checking Matthew and MacKenzie’s claims about Protestant beliefs on Hell, the Day of Judgment and the nature of the soul. In the process we will see numerous primary source documents they are parroting without citing them to show Christians how Adventist media outlets, like this one, often use this approach to try and make converts.
