Word association fallacy is a common tactic engaged in by the SDA Church, even codified in their Bible Commentary, to seek to bolster SDA claims and assertions. Today we look at one of their big three favorite proof texts, John 14:15, and how the application of this fallacy leads to faulty interpretation, which they ultimately inherited from their “inspired prophetess”—Ellen G. White.
